Grandma's peonies are coming back.
The front yard woke up.
We took a chance and planted the vegetable garden early. As I write this there is a freeze warning in effect for the area. We'll see.
There is a story in my family that my great-grandfather Domachowski took a chance one year and planted the crops early. There was no more frost that spring, the crops flourished, and he was first to market, raking in enough money to pay off the farm.
